This is a konkani version of banana
stem stir fry. Banana stem has got lots
of health benefits, its is very easy to use, tasty and good for health
too. If possible include this in your diet
at least once in a week in any forms.
Ingredients
Gabbo (unni Kambu) -- sliced
1cup
Grated coconut -- 2 tbsp
Red chilly -- 3 to 4
Mustard seeds -- ½ tsp
Jaggery -- 1 tbsp
Oil -- 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Method
Heat oil in kadai add mustard seeds when it splutter add broken
red chilly fry for a min. Then add
finely sliced banana stem add salt, jaggery
and little water cover and cook till half done. Then add grated coconut mix
well cook till it gets dry. Tasty stir fry ready to serve.
