§ Toor dal 1 cup
§ Onion (chopped) 1 nos
§ Red chilli 2 nos
§ Green chilli 2 nos
§ Crushed pepper 1 tsp
§ Jeera
½
tsp
§ Hing
one pinch
§ Ghee ½ tsp
§ Tomato (chopped) 2 nos
§ Garlic 2-3 flakes
§ Salt to taste
Method
Pressure
cook dal with chopped tomatoes, onion, garlic and green chilli with 2-3
whistles and let them cool. Transfer
cooked dal into a vessel. Add salt to taste and mix well Heat ghee add jeera,
when it splutters add pinch of hing and red chilli. Pour this tadka on boiled
dal. Add crushed pepper to it. Garnish
with crushed pepper. Serve hot with
rotis.
