Ingredients
Kirlu(Bamboo shoot) 1cup
Grated
coconut 1½ cup
Red chilly 10 to 15
Chopped
onion 2
Tamarind little
Oil
Salt
to taste
Method
Pressure
cook bamboo shoot pieces
with 1 chopped onion for 3 to 4 whistles.
Grind
grated coconut, tamarind and red
chilly(fried in little oil) into
fine paste.
Add this paste into cooked bamboo shoots
boil it for 5 to 10 min.
Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan add 1 chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Pour this on to boiling curry.
Serve with
hot white rice.
